2020 Vision - Registration
Could your child be a tennis champion in 2020?
Our 2020 Vision programme will initially select 64 boys and 64 girls from the local community (aged between 5 and 10) to embark on a journey that could eventually lead to a prestigious sponsorship at the Tennis Avenue Academy.
After the first intake, places will only become available as others leave. There will always be a maximum of 64 boys and 64 girls at any one time.
Each child may stay on the programme for up to 3 years, paying just £20 per month. Even this could be waived if neither parent is in full time employment.
2020 Vision training is entirely separate to our other coaching programmes. The aim is to secure a sponsorship, on merit, into our Mini Academy or Junior Academy before the 3 year period ends.
Starting from 2013/2014 and onwards, at least one boy and one girl will be chosen every year to receive a sponsorship.
2020 Vision acceptance criteria:
Aged between 5 - 10;
Live in the Borough of Kingston OR nearby areas such as Worcester Park, Cheam, Morden, Motspur Park, Raynes Park, etc;
Never played in tournaments before;
Disciplined and well-behaved.
There are four 90-minute 2020 Vision sessions weekly, and each player attends two sessions per week - rain or shine!
